General Information

Company headquarters for MulchPlus, LLC are located in Northwestern Indiana (LaPorte County). MulchPlus was founded in March of 2002 to provide Express Blower™ truck installations of material. That same year, MulchPlus became a certified installer for Rexius Erosion Control Systems providing EcoBlankets® and EcoBerms® within the erosion control industry. The Filtrexx International line of FilterSoxx™ products were added in 2003 when training and certification were completed. Realizing the need with the erosion control market, MulchPlus then became a Certified Erosion Control (CEC) member company in early 2005. Based on the CEC principles, in early 2006 MulchPlus, LLC established a Stormwater Compliance program. The Stormwater Compliance program is designed to assist developers maintain EPA NPDES Phase II compliance during all phases of construction site compliance: pre-construction, full site construction, individual lot construction, and post-construction. During second quarter of 2006, MulchPlus LLC opened the MulchPlus Store to provide local landscapers, developers, and contractors local access to Best Management Practice (BMP) products for their own, individual installation needs.

Beginning in 2007, MulchPlus, LLC continued to expand erosion and sediment control services and products with the addition of seeding options such as Broadcast Seeding, Drill Seeding, Hydroseeding, and Spreader Seeding. These seeding options were in addition to the

Express Blower TerraSeeding™ option, which had been offered since opening in 2002. In second quarter 2007, the MulchPlus, LLC welcomed the addition of a "GreenPartnership" with North American Green and a new offering of the DustLess ™ product from the DirtGlue® company. In third quarter of 2007, MulchPlus, LLC became a registered dealer for Earth Carpet™  seeds and turf products. A DuraTech grinder was added in third quarter of 2008 and MulchPlus began onsite grinding operations for bulk materials which are offered through the MulchPlus Storefront sales and used for customer site applications.

As a certified installer for Filtrexx International, Rexius Erosion Control Systems, and Certified Erosion Control companies, MulchPlus, LLC designs, installs, and maintains erosion, sediment and stormwater BMPs (Best Management Practices). Being a certified installer, strict control and standards are followed to ensure the quality and success of BMP solutions. Annual certification is maintained through vendor and industry training/certification programs.
