Streambanks

EdgeSaver™ is a sustainable, customizable, scalable solution to eroded streambanks or pond banks. Eroded edges of ponds and streams are difficult to re-vegetate because it is hard to establish a solid edge to assist in the re-vegetation process.  Loose products like soil or mulch are commonly added to edges only to erode or wash away after the first rain. Compost used in EdgeSaver™ applications provides an excellent growing media for vegetation establishment.

Vegetation grows through the layers of sediment, establishing a long-term solution. Some properties of chemical filtration (binding of metals and nutrients) and biological filtration (destruction of harmful substances) also occur from the unique compost media blend contained in the netting materials.
